How to Start a Cricket Attraction Business with SuperOver VR Cricket

A practical guide for first-time owners: what SuperOver VR Cricket includes, what space and power you need, who runs it, and how to choose a location.

If you’re planning a first business — back from the Gulf, switching careers, or building a side income — you’ve probably looked at food carts, franchises and coaching centres. A cricket attraction is a different kind of option: one machine, one operator, and a game every guest already understands.

This guide walks through what it takes to start one with SuperOver VR Cricket. We sell the equipment outright; there’s no franchise fee and no revenue share.

Step 1: Know what you’re buying

SuperOver VR Cricket is a complete attraction in one box, for only ₹1.7 Lakhs*:

  • A Meta Quest 3 headset with charging kit
  • A real cricket bat with the controller mounted on the blade
  • A controlling tablet with the SuperOver software preloaded
  • A commercial-use licence so you can charge for play
  • Operator training at our Trivandrum office or a nearby stop
  • A 1-year warranty, with extended warranty and AMC options

Each player faces 18 balls across three overs in a full virtual stadium. A session takes about 5–10 minutes and ends with a score for the next player to chase.

*T&C apply.

Step 2: Find the right corner

SuperOver needs:

  • Space: a 10×10 ft play area (8×10 ft minimum), with the queue kept outside the play zone
  • Ceiling: at least 9 ft, for a full overhead swing
  • Floor: level, hard and non-slip
  • Power: two standard 230V sockets
  • Internet: stable Wi-Fi, 10 Mbps down / 5 Mbps up
  • Lighting: even indoor light, with no direct sun or large mirrors on the play area

That fits a mall corner, a spare bay at a box-cricket turf, a gaming zone or a café with room to swing.

Step 3: Pick a location with the right crowd

The best spots already have people waiting or browsing: malls, family entertainment centres, gaming zones, sports cafés on match nights, and turfs between bookings. A TV showing the game helps — people stop to watch the swing, and watching turns into queueing.

The minimum player age is 13, and players under 18 need a parent or guardian’s consent, so plan for a teen-and-adult crowd.

Step 4: Plan your staffing

You need one trained operator. They start and reset sessions from the tablet, help players with the headset and bat, and keep the queue moving. They don’t need gaming or technical experience; training is included.

Step 5: Set it up yourself

SuperOver is self-installation with one-click setup. There’s no installation visit to wait for. Once your operator is trained, you’re ready to open.

Step 6: Work out your own numbers

Your ticket price, footfall and opening hours decide what the business earns, and they’re different for every location. Put your own figures into the ROI calculator and pressure-test them before you commit. We’d rather you plan on realistic numbers than on a promise.
